Petworth Arts Collaborative is excited to kick off the 2019 season with new collaborations, starting with the creator behind a Night of 1,000 Fridas, Theodore Carter. http://theodorecarter.com/frida/

This worldwide event will feature images of Frida Kahlo for one night only on Friday January 25th and the neighborhood of Petworth will take part!

From the creator-
Why Night of 1,000 Fridas?

1. Frida was an amazing artist who led an inspiring life.
2. To encourage everyone of all ages and abilities to create art.
3. To bring art into public spaces.
4. To create community.
5. To see if we can.
6. 1,000 public images of a bisexual Latina communist revolutionary could do the world some good right now.

Leading up to the event, we are hosting a flores de papel making workshop, see details below.
